A production drawing from the MGM Studios animated Screwy Squirrel short "The Screwy Truant" (1945). Featuring a fantastic illustration of Screwy Squirrel with a rubber-hose style mallet, the graphite drawing was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 4"x9", the drawing is in very good condition with discoloration from age, minor edge and corner wear, tearing at the bottom corners, creasing around the bottom left corner, and graphite smudges from handling.
