An original production cel and background from the MGM Studios animated Barney Bear short "The Fishing Bear" (1940). Featuring gorgeous imagery of the title card and fishing gear, the hand-painted cel and background were created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 16.75"x19.25" framed, with the mat opening measuring 9.5"x12" overall, and the image itself measuring 9"x11.5", the piece is in very good condition.
