1941 Vernon Kilns Manufacturing Factory Collector Plate - ID: vernon0001plate

A Vernon Kilns plate, produced in 1948. Plates like this were only available to guests as a memento of their tour of the factory in Los Angeles. Vernon Kilns produced plates between 1936 and 1958. The imagery features drawings of the factory when it opened in 1916, and in 1948, the year these plates were produced. The plate also features images of the eight styles of dinnerware produced by Vernon Kilns at that time: Dolores, Chintz, Arcadia, Organdie, May Flower, Fruitdale, Brown Eyed Susan, and Monterey. Measuring 8.5" in diameter, the plate is in very good condition with light discoloration and imperfections in the glaze.
